Welcome Back!
Summer at MDYC

SAFE, FUN, & IN PERSON

We are planning to open our Jack & Patti Salter Club in Royal Oak for summer programming June 20 and our Levin-Comer Club in Detroit on June 27. On this page, you will find all the information related to Summer and hear about any updates to our offerings.

In order to participate in summer programming, you must fill out a membership application. The membership is free for this summer for the Club hours of 12pm-4pm, but parents/guardians must fill out an application so that we have the Club member’s information on file.

In Royal Oak, we are also offering morning camps (8:30-11:30am) in addition to the programming from 12-4pm. You can find the description and schedule for all camps below. For any questions on membership or camps, please email Mike Schlaack.

LEARN. GROW. LEAD. SUCCEED.

We are guided by MDYC’s Core Values. Our values inspire us to Innovate Through Mission.

At Metro Detroit Youth Clubs, our North Star is our youth. We provide quality programs serving the youth that need us most. Our promise as an organization is to provide a safe and accessible space where transformation can occur. Building on mission, our Core Values highlight 9 core areas of focus that differentiate and define what we do.

Serving youth in Detroit, Ferndale, Royal Oak, Southfield and Washington Township, MDYC’s approach is to help our members learn, grow, lead, and succeed.
